our oceans are drowning in a flood of plastic

Plastic pollution of the oceans is a huge problem: tons of plastic waste threaten our oceans and their inhabitants. One of the biggest threats is ghost nets . These old fishing nets, lost or discarded at sea, are an invisible danger in the dark waters and continue to fish relentlessly. Up to 1 million tons of such nets are added every year, taking the lives of countless marine creatures . This is where we come in: our mission is to stop this threat.

but how?

To put it briefly: We work closely with the marine conservation organizations Healthy Seas and Ghost Diving , whose volunteer diving teams remove the nets from wrecks and reefs in dangerous missions. We also process discarded fishing nets from fisheries so that they don't become ghost nets in the first place.

upcycling

We then upcycle all of these nets by hand into new products, such as The BlueHeart Bracenet . The blue and yellow net parts represent the proportions of sea and land mass on our planet - and impressively show why we call our earth the blue planet . With the bracelet you help us to support Healthy Seas & Ghost Diving in their work and at the same time wear a piece of marine history on your wrist.
