The first Sylt Edition was so well received that the entire network was used up – so we developed a new edition: the Sylt II Bracenet .

With the Sylt Island Bracenet, you're not just wearing a stylish accessory on your wrist, but actively supporting the protection of our oceans. This sustainable bracelet is made from old blue and yellow fishing nets , combined with a silver stainless steel charm featuring the Sylt silhouette.

Sylt Island – an island of contrasts: rugged surf and tranquil Wadden Sea idyll. The North Sea around Sylt is home to seals, porpoises, and numerous fish species . The Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's most productive ecosystems, is particularly worthy of protection. However, plastic waste, ghost nets, and climate change are taking their toll on this unique habitat. Maintaining the marine balance is crucial – for biodiversity and for future generations.

Our mission: recover ghost nets - save oceans

Millions of tons of plastic float through our oceans—including countless so-called ghost nets: lost or intentionally sunk fishing nets that continue to kill fish. Together with partners like Healthy Seas, we recover these nets, saving marine animals and habitats.

We then process the salvaged material using fair, local handcraft to create new upcycled products: bracelets, key rings and accessories – each one unique and with a story to tell.
