FurNETure – table top consists of 100% fishing nets melted down by us: sustainability in its most beautiful form
Our FurNETure table tops are more than just furniture – they are a statement for sustainability and design. Made in a resource-saving process from nets that can no longer be upcycled, and net remnants from the production of our bracenets. Thanks to the low melting point of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) , from which the fishing nets are made, we need very little energy for processing. We completely avoid the use of additives such as plasticisers, plasticisers, new plastics or colour pigments – our FurNETure table tops are made FurNETure table tops are made from 100% melted fishing nets.
The special thing about our FurNETure table tops is not just the sustainable manufacturing process, but above all the look. By melting the nets this creates fascinating colour gradients that make each panel truly unique. No two pieces are the same, and the unmistakable structure tells the story of the material from which it is made was created. Each plate carries the spirit of the sea within it and brings a piece of the ocean into your room.
