Ecofluencer x Billion Oyster Project

16. Jul | New York

Oysters, even though they may be small mollusks, play a vital role in their habitat. They are natural purifiers, which means they clean and filter water. One single adult oyster can clean about 50 gallons of water every day. Oysters also build three-dimensional reef structures that, like coral reefs, provide a habitat for a number of other species. #Ecofluencer Jenni visited the #BillionOysterProject in New York. Their goal is to restore one billion live oysters to New York Harbor by 2035 to saving New York’s Eroding Harbor. Amazing work, isn’t it?

Jenni is our ecofluencer with an unconditional love for our 🌊... and potatoe chips. She might not be much taller than a 🐣, but that doesn’t stop her from reaching for her goals, one little waddle at a time if needed. When she isn’t 🎥 about ocean conversation, she loves to step dance around the world or dives through the sky 🌤 Her biggest adventure yet was swimming with 🐋 sharks in Australia.
