The BRACENET DIY KIT contains:

Step by step: Your DIY bracelet made from fishing net
Our step-by-step instructions and video tutorials show you how to use your BRACENET DIY KIT to make your own personalised bracelet from fishing net in just a few easy steps and contribute to protecting our oceans through creative upcycling.
HOW IT WORKS: STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
PREPARE NET
- Clean the net: Rinse the net you have found thoroughly with water and leave it to dry. If you have ordered a DIY KIT including net, we have already done this for you.
- Cut the net to size: Cut a piece of the net that is slightly longer than the circumference of your wrist.
TAKE MEASUREMENTS AND CUT SIZES
- Measure your wrist: Wrap a tape measure or shoelace around your wrist and note the length.
- Adjust the net: Cut the piece of net about 1 cm longer than the measured length.
FASTEN CLASPS
- Prepare the clasps: Choose the stainless steel twist clasp (black, rosegold or silver).
- Thread the net: Thread one end of the net through the twist clasp, fuse the ends together with a lighter and press lightly to prevent fraying.
- Fasten the other end: Repeat this process with the other end of the net and the second part of the twist clasp.
FINALISE BRACELET
- Adjustment: Try on the bracelet and adjust the ends as required.
- Secure the ends: Make sure that both ends are firmly anchored in the clasp.
WEAR AND ENJOY
- Close the twist clasp: Twist the two clasp parts together until they are firmly connected.
- Presentation: Your BRACENET bracelet is finished! Wear it proudly!

- Take a photo: Take a photo of your finished bracelet.

DIY KIT FAQ
Do I have to collect fishing net myself for the DIY KIT?
No, we offer the BRACENET DIY KITS both WITH and WITHOUT net – depending on whether you want to use your own net or prefer to use a pre-cut piece of net from us. With DIY KITS including net, you currently have the choice between two different net colors (Baltic Sea or Mediterranean Sea). You receive 30 cm of net for each twist clasp supplied.
Which clasps are supplied?
Our BRACENET DIY KITS are available with twist clasps in black, silver or rosegold. You can choose whether you need 1, 2 or 3 clasps. Each kit contains one of the clasp colors mentioned, a color mix is not (yet) possible. If you choose for a kit including net, you will receive approx. 30 cm of net for each twist clasp supplied.
What net colours are available?
We currently offer our BRACENET DIY KITS including net with the Baltic Sea or Mediterranean Sea nets. You will receive one approx. 30 cm long piece of net for each twist clasp supplied. If you collect nets washed up on the beach yourself and use our DIY KIT – Your Ne , which only contains your desired number of clasps, there are no limits to your imagination and choice of color.
What materials do I need
Our BRACENET DIY KITS include 1, 2 or 3 twist clasps in a color of your choice (black, silver or rose gold) and a corresponding number of net pieces (30 cm each). Our DIY KIT – Your Net contains only your desired number of clasps, which you can use to make a completely individual bracelet from your own net findings. A ruler is also included. All you need is a pair of scissors and a lighter.
